In development: pre-alpha. Everything here, including screenshots, key art and trailers, comes from the game as it is today. It is work in progress and does not represent the final product.
Two carrier fleets steam toward each other across the Pacific. Up to 20 pilots and their AI wingmen launch off the catapults to fight for the sky, and the first team to sink the other's fleet wins.
Iron Eagle is built for both kinds of pilot. It is quick to pick up with a controller or mouse and keyboard, and deep enough that radar, stealth and real weapons decide who comes home. Every sortie starts on the deck: full throttle fires the catapult, and the ones that go well end on the wire, rearming and refuelling for the next launch.
In Fleet Battle, each side brings a carrier, cruisers, frigates and corvettes, each with its own radar, missiles and close-in guns. Pilots knock out a ship's systems one by one and put it under, while the ship's Phalanx, RAM and Sea Sparrow fight back against incoming jets and missiles. Team Deathmatch strips it back to pilots only.

From the F-4 Phantom II to the F-22 Raptor and Su-57, each with its own speed, turn, roll, G limit and toughness.
Catapult launches, blast deflectors, tailhook traps on four wires, bolters, and rearm, refuel and repair on your own deck.
Carriers, cruisers, frigates and corvettes with radar, SAMs and CIWS you knock out one by one. Ships sink.
About 36 air-launched weapons, from the AIM-9X and AIM-120D to the AIM-54 Phoenix, Harpoon and JDAM, and each jet's real gun.
Stealth by aspect, the radar horizon, island masking, sea clutter and the Doppler notch. Flares, chaff and jamming.
3v3, 5v5 and 10v10 on dedicated servers. AI wingmen fly real roles and land back aboard to rearm.
A full day and night cycle, volumetric clouds, an open ocean, and thunderstorms with lightning that lights up the fleet.
Every kill replayed from several cameras in slow motion, and every match saved for the replay theater.
The morning of a Fleet Battle, from a quiet dawn on the carrier deck to the moment the fight turns.
