## One line

Carrier-launched jet combat where two fleets fight for the Pacific, and only one sees the sunset.

## Short description (50 words)

Iron Eagle is a multiplayer jet combat game for arcade fans and simulator pilots alike. Launch off a carrier's catapult in one of 11 real jets, fight with real weapons, radar and electronic warfare, and help sink the enemy fleet in online battles for up to 20 pilots and their AI wingmen.

## Description

Two carrier fleets steam toward each other across the Pacific. Up to 20 pilots and their AI wingmen launch off the catapults to fight for the sky, and the first team to sink the other's fleet wins.

Iron Eagle is built for both kinds of pilot. It is quick to pick up with a controller or mouse and keyboard, and deep enough that radar, stealth and real weapons decide who comes home. Every sortie starts on the deck: full throttle fires the catapult, and the ones that go well end on the wire, rearming and refuelling for the next launch.

## Ways to play

We want Iron Eagle to be playable however you like to fly, cross-play included. Here is where each option stands today.

- **Playable now:** Flatscreen, with mouse and keyboard or an Xbox or PlayStation controller and matching on-screen prompts.
- **In development:** PC VR through SteamVR (tested on Meta Quest 3 and Quest Pro), with hand tracking and an interactive cockpit you reach out and use.
- **Roadmapped:** HOTAS and flight sticks (including a real HOTAS combined with hand tracking), flying with VR motion controllers, and cross-play so VR, flatscreen and the planned Xbox and PlayStation versions fight in the same battles.

Roadmapped items are plans, not promises, and may change.

## Fleet Battle

In Fleet Battle, each side brings a carrier, cruisers, frigates and corvettes, each with its own radar, missiles and close-in guns. Pilots knock out a ship's systems one by one and put it under, while the ship's Phalanx, RAM and Sea Sparrow fight back against incoming jets and missiles. Team Deathmatch strips it back to pilots only.

## Features

- **11 flyable jets:** F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightning II, F-15E Strike Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-14 Tomcat, F-4 Phantom II, A-10 Thunderbolt II, YF-23 Black Widow II, MiG-29, MiG-35 and Su-57.
- **Real carrier ops:** catapult launches, blast deflectors, tailhook traps on four wires, bolters, and rearm, refuel and repair on your own deck.
- **Fleet Battle:** carriers, cruisers, frigates and corvettes with radar, SAMs and CIWS that you knock out one by one; ships sink.
- **Real weapons:** about 36 air-launched weapons, from the AIM-9X and AIM-120D to the AIM-54 Phoenix, Harpoon and JDAM, plus each jet's real gun.
- **Radar and electronic warfare:** stealth by aspect, the radar horizon, island masking, sea clutter and the Doppler notch; flares, chaff and jamming.
- **Online:** 3v3, 5v5 and 10v10 on dedicated servers, with AI wingmen who fly real roles and land back aboard.
- **Sea and sky:** a full day and night cycle, volumetric clouds, an open ocean, and thunderstorms with lightning.
- **Kill cam and replays:** every kill replayed from several cameras, every match saved.
